Charity Pennock, ACC
Founder/Principal
Charity brings over 20 years of cross-sector leadership experience to her work accelerating leadership effectiveness during critical transitions and complex challenges. Her unique career trajectory at the intersection of business, government, and nonprofit sectors has given her rare insight into how leaders navigate competing stakeholder demands, resource constraints, and organizational complexity.
Throughout her career, Charity has built organizations, launched programs, and managed multi-stakeholder initiatives across clean energy, economic development, and entrepreneurship. These experiences refined her ability to see beyond surface issues to identify the real problems that need solving.
Charity is an International Coaching Federation Associate Certified Coach, a Gestalt International Study Center Certified Coach, and a Leadership Circle Profile Certified Practitioner.
Charity enjoys hiking, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family. She lives in Charlottesville, Virginia, with her husband Andy and their four boys.

Andy Pennock, PhD
Founder/Principal
Andy is an Associate Professor of Public Policy at the University of Virginia’s Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy, where he teaches courses on leadership, policy analysis, and organizational change. He has extensive experience in executive education, having worked with federal executives, state legislators, international officials, school leaders, and medical professionals on adaptive leadership, change management, and systems thinking. Andy has designed and delivered leadership development programs for the Federal Executive Institute, the Aspen Institute, and the EU-funded WeLead program, among others. His work focuses on equipping leaders to navigate complex challenges, foster collaboration across organizational boundaries, and generate systemic progress in high-stakes environments.
Andy loves adventuring with his four boys in and around Charlottesville. He and his wife, Charity, love to cook, read, garden, travel and have good conversation whenever they can.
